Details Emerge for Expected Skyscraper in New York

Recent details have emerged regarding a skyscraper that is expected to pierce the New York City skyline sometime in the near future. If all goes according to plan, this new skyscraper will be the tallest residential building in New York City. The site of the former Drake Hotel on Park Avenue will soon be home to this expected tower.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the project has been currently estimated at $305 million dollars. In addition, the location of the skyscraper has been regarded as highly attractive due to the fact that it is in the heart of New York City. The tower is expected to reach 1,395 feet in height and is estimated to have cost $1.2 billion when completed.

Inside the skyscraper, 128 units will be available for residence as well as retail space as well. Luxury amenities are expected as well that include, golf training facilities and private dining and screening rooms. The residential units will vary in size from 1,390 square feet to more than 8,000 square feet.

While the project does not have a set end date, we can’t wait to see what the finished result will be. If you are looking to bring the efforts of this tower into your architecture needs in Steamboat Springs, contact Vertical Arts today.
