Eco-Art Takes the Toolbox to the Table With Artistic Accessory Designs

At Vertical Arts we love a great new eco-friendly idea when we see one, especially when it involves home and architectural designs. Our latest find? Through California Home Design, we discovered eco-artist Tammy Roe’s new sculptures, made from the contents of your junk drawer or your over stuffed garage.

Have you ever completed a project only to find that you have extra nuts and bolts laying around? My father always kept a can of such items in our garage from his various mechanical ventures, and when asked about it, always responded with “I’ll use them for something someday.” Tammy Roe has found that someday’s something, and is using spare metal parts from metal scrap yards to create bowls, plates, and sculptures from the pieces.

Her designs have a modern aesthetic that you could find in many big box stores, but are eco-friendly and original so they add much more character to a space.
