Our Steamboat Springs' Shadow Run Project

Our Shadow Run outdoor living area project was recently featured in Steamboat Today. The Shadow Run condominium complex in Steamboat Springs underwent a bit of a facelift, we designed a new spa facility complete with a hot tub enclosure and outdoor fire pit. The property is located off of Whistler Road and is less than a mile from the Steamboat Ski Area gondola.

Our project manager Travis Mathey worked with the property management team at Mountain Resorts to bring the residents of the Steamboat Springs complex their new spa. Built in 1980, Shadow Run’s condos have a mix of permanent residents as well as some rental units. Mountain Resorts along with Vertical Arts’ own Mathey hopes that the spa project “provides a vision for a future transformation at Shadow Run and also provides an immediate upgrade.”

“It has resonated really well with guests and owners,” said Mountain Resorts President Steve Frasier. “It likely is a test drive” for future upgrades at the property. “The idea was to float this and see how it goes. I can tell you everyone has been very receptive.”

Mathey told Steamboat Today that “the outdoor fire pit is a significant part of the upgraded hot tub facility, serving as a focal point that encourages people to gather and mingle.”
