Vertical Arts’ Feature in Steamboat Magazine

Vertical Arts has been featured in the fourth annual Architecture and Design issue of Steamboat Magazine Spring 2016; this edition inspires with architectural innovations, ideas and information. Our project manager, Sarah Tiedeken, was thrilled to provide Steamboat Magazine readers with some tips and tricks to consider when designing a wine room. The first thing to think about is how much space is needed for bottle capacity. From there, it’s time to decide what kind of racking will fit best. Wine bottle racking comes in various styles and materials such as wood and stainless steel, and it is important to consider your home’s style, size and the angle at which the bottles will be placed on the rack when making these decisions. Additionally, you will want to install cooling equipment for your wine room with sealed insulation in order to control the temperature. The two final things to consider are door style and lighting. Take a closer look at our feature in Steamboat Magazine for more details!

Also included in the Steamboat Magazine Spring 2016 edition are Vertical Art’s suggestions on how to create a statement when designing a warm, welcoming entryway. Creating a statement and welcoming guests into your home should be your objective, but an entryway needs to be practical as well. Adding effects such as accent lighting, flowers, seating and re-purposed items will add eye-catching style to your entryway, while providing functionality for you and your guests. Other items to consider adding include: a colorful rug, family photos and coat hooks. Check out the mood board we created for more tips and tricks on how to create an inviting entryway.
