Clients versed in design and building worked with our team to create their dream home. A home situated on a steep slope gives mountain valley views all year round. A floor plan turned vertical maximizes the 6,000 square feet into numerous guest rooms and entertainment spaces at a steep slope. Overall, pure architectural forms and massing from the hill created an abode that meshes old and new. Stone blocks speak to the age of Steamboat while modern aluminum cladding gives new life to the valley.  Seamless transition to the outdoors was a priority and influenced the form with heftily punched holes through the stone walls that gave way to patios and decks to meet the natural light. The industrial and modern feel of the home influences the projects interior – manifesting its looks with a custom rotating fireplace and focal point staircase.
