The nation’s fastest growing sport for three consecutive years has sparked inspiration for Steamboat Locals who are looking for pickleball courts to try out their double hits and drop shot volleys. Steamboat, known for its contribution to all things outdoors, did not hesitate to adopt and accommodate land to build one of Colorado’s biggest and best Pickleball facilities. It features both indoor and outdoor.

The interior design of the project follows the concept of  “Wayfinding,” or the use of color and graphics to guide a person through an experience or space. Here, primary colors are used to draw attention to certain rooms and direct traffic, doing a lot with a little bit of paint. The team pro shop designed to be versatile in the coming years based off a traditional peg system that can easily be maneuvered. These raw wood tones paired with corresponding wood slats behind the custom reception space serve a modern refreshing welcome upon entering.

The project officially opened in 2024 and has since hosted dozens of events and local competitions. Come get your paddle and join in on the fun!
